For the first time, we have launched a protein powder using a blend of brown rice protein, pea protein, and shiitake protein. It contains addition L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine – branched chain amino acids (or BCAAs) that both prevent muscle loss and have been shown to act as a ‘kickstart’ to muscle-protein synthesis, meaning the overall quantity of protein you need to take in is reduced.

Many published studies have demonstrated that consuming the BCAAs in this ratio jump-starts protein building in muscle cells, facilitating the absorption of the remaining protein blend which allows muscle hypertrophy (growth) to occur.

The proteins and protein ratios for this blend have been carefully selected, and supply the most beneficial amino acid profile.

Who should take this?

The new LifeGive Protein Powder is ideal for two groups.

Firstly, fitness advocates and athletes, for whom this powder will provide additional energy whilst healing and repairing muscles that have been damaged in intense workouts. 

Secondly, this is ideal for preventing age-related muscle loss. From the age of 30 you can begin to lose muscle mass year-on-year if you are not exercising and eating optimally. Additional plant-based protein in your diet will help preserve muscle mass as you age and prevent degenerative mobility issues.

The powder is flavoured with vanilla bean and a gentle sweetness from stevia, ensuring there are no nasty additives or flavouring chemicals.
